Smoking Effects on Body

Today I have to teach you some harmful smoking effects for health. Smoking is very harmful to the body. Smoking is so dangerous to the body that it damages almost all organs of the body. This causes many kinds of diseases in the body and the health of the smokers gradually gets worse.

Millions of people are dying every year due to smoking in major countries of the world. If one estimates, then every 5-6 persons are being killed by cigarette smoking. Due to the presence of some such dangerous diseases such as HIV Aids, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and smoking, the number of deaths is increasing.

Harmful Smoking Effects for Health

The use of hookah, cigar or any pipe in the place of cigarettes does not make any difference. Even after using all this, the body gets as much harm as much as cigarettes. It is said that there are about 600 types of chemical elements in the cigarette, which, after burning, turns into 7000 types of harmful products. Of that 70 toxic chemicals are associated with cancer. Below some harmful smoking effects for health read it.

Autoimmune Diseases

All human beings have the power to fight diseases and other types of infections which are called immune systems and diseases associated with this system are called self-immunization. The immune system of the person smoking is gradually weakening, so the smokers have respiratory infections that occur rapidly.

Smoking can also be the reason for many other types of autoimmune diseases such as Crohn’s disease and arthritis. Smoking is the only reason for most people being diabetes type 2 (IDDM).

Weakness of Bones

Smoking like alcohol addiction increases the risk of osteoporosis. In this, the bones become weak and when there is an accident, the risk of bone breakdown. Most men and women who smoke most are more at risk.

At an early age, women who smoke are fewer estrogen levels of their body. Because of which it is Menopause at an early age that increases the risk of osteoporosis.

Heart and Blood Vessels Disease

Smoking is so dangerous that it destroys blood cells gradually and weakens the heart completely. The 70 types of toxic chemicals associated with the heart and blood vessels cause cancer.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD)

  • Coronary Heart Disease Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) – In this, the arteries are thin and closed.
  • Heart attack
  • Angina – There is a lot of pain in the chest due to not having proper blood in the heart till the heart.
  • Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

Atherosclerosis

In this disease, the plaque gets accumulated in the blood arteries.

Stroke

Due to bleeding in the brain, brain cells are destroyed due to which stroke can occur.

Lungs and Breathing Disease

Although smoking has a negative effect on the whole body, the worst effect is on the lungs because the smoke from the cigarette or hukka first penetrates into the lungs. Let’s know about some diseases caused by smoking –

Emphysema

This is a disease in which the walls of the air sacs of the whispering become weak, due to which it cannot be possible to stretch and return. In such a way there is a problem in breathing.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

It has symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness.

Pneumonia

Due to the infections in this disease, water in the lungs is filled.

Cataract in Eyes

As we have already mentioned that smoking is bad for the whole body. Smoke is also very dangerous for the eyes. Many reports have found that most cataract patients have been found to be smoky.

Age-related macular degeneration (ARMD) in which it has a bad effect in the middle part of the eye retina. The power of seeing eyes diminishes and looks like a blurred vision.

Cancer

People with tobacco smoke are at risk of multiple organs being cancerous –

  • Lungs
  • Trachea
  • Bronchial
  • Esophagus
  • Mouth
  • Lip
  • Nasal cavity
  • Throat
  • Stomach
  • Urinary bladder
  • Pancreas
  • Kidney
  • Liver
  • Uterine cervix
